Nestled in the Appalachian foothills of Southeastern Ohio, the fall beauty of Athens, home of Ohio University’s main campus, is unquestionable this time of year.
The nature backdrop has changed into picturesque hues of red, orange, yellow, brown and green. While students walk to class, lead research projects, write papers, study for important exams, attend campus events and meet friends uptown, they simply cannot miss seeing the brilliant fall colors encompassing Athens.
Many who have walked the brick paths come back time and time again to experience the alluring Athens fall. There is a reason this vibrant place, full also of opportunity and community, has been ranked nationally for beautiful campus quads and as a best college town .
