Douglas Bowie is a two-time McClure School graduate, earning his bachelor's in communication systems management in 1994 and his master's in communication technology and policy in 2005. Early in his career, he worked as a software engineer and network engineer in Cincinnati, Ohio. Doug returned to Ohio University in 1997 as the network and lab administrator for the McClure School. Here, he supports the school's technology systems and shares with students his expertise in the virtualization of computing and network systems, application of technology to business situations, configuration and management of enterprise authentication systems, large-scale system standardization and configuration management, and network infrastructure border containment and integration.
