Bringing together premier faculty in the information design field from around the world, the Visual Discovery Conference allows students to participate without a registration fee and collaborate on visual storytelling projects focused on specific regional themes. This year's themes were the Ridges, mining and beer-making.

The conference will begin Thursday afternoon at the historic Athena Cinema in uptown Athens. We will be using the theater’s second-floor auditorium and providing free popcorn and soft drinks for attendees. Seating is limited and open to the public.
