Harry Morgan Insaidoo(M.Phil., University of Education, Winneba – Ghana; M.A., Ohio University) completed his bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology at Kumasi, Ghana. Also, he received his master’s degree in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Education, Winneba – Ghana, where he researched on “Remedial Schools and Identity Construction in Newspaper and on Billboards: a study of schools in Accra.” Prior to coming to Ohio University, Morgan worked as a Graphic Designer in advertising, marking and printing companies. Later, he established the Inspire Magazine, a lifestyle magazine that provided Senior High School students a platform to exhibit their talents through creative writing and acting. While pursuing his second Masters in Communication and Development Studies at Ohio University, Morgan has in recent years, worked as a Graphic Designer for institutions and student organizations to publicize and increase patronage of their events. His goal for pursuing a doctorate degree at Ohio University is to expand his research by exploring Ghana’s media (print and digital) coverage of maternal health services, and the narratives and discourses surrounding maternal health. Morgan’s background spans a diverse range of disciplines and mediums: Media Studies, Graphic Design, Web Design, Teaching and Project Management.
