Jeremy Murphy(M.A. San Diego State University) received his Bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in English. Before coming to OU, he taught as a Lecturer at Utah Valley University, primarily teaching introductory courses. He also spent a year doing nonprofit work in Washington DC at a think tank. His research interests focus on the intersection of critical rhetoric and geography. He is interested in how communities seek to become their own mapmakers. Jeremy loves Bagel Street Deli!
