Dr. Kimberly Rouse, Ph.D., LISW first began her tenure in the Office of the Dean of Students in 2022 as Assistant Dean of Students. She has served as Associate Dean of Students since November 2023. In this role she oversees the University’s CARE team and Basic Needs Program. 

Prior to her Associate Dean Role, Rouse served as Director of the Ohio University Survivor Advocacy Program for 8 years. A three-time Ohio University graduate, Kim received her Bachelor of Arts in Social Work with a minor in psychology, her master’s degree in  social  work, and her Ph.D. in higher education and student affairs. She has a wide range of experience in counseling, supervision, mental health, advocacy and trauma informed care. 

Outside of work, you can find Kim playing pickleball, wake surfing, spending time with family and friends, and making memories with her daughter.
