Official Biography
Captain Ben Witosky is a native of Lancaster, Ohio and was commissioned through the ROTC program at Ohio University in 2016 as an Infantry Officer.
His civilian and military education includes: a bachelor’s degree in business administration (Ohio University, 2016), Infantry Officer Basic Leadership Course, Maneuver Captain’s Career Course, Airborne School, Air Assault School, and Ranger School. Captain Witosky’s assignments include Rifle Platoon Leader and Executive Officer, A CO, 2-502nd Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division, Fort Campbell, KY; Assistant Operations Officer, 2-502nd Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division, Fort Campbell, KY; Aide-de-Camp to the Deputy

His awards and decorations include Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal (2 OLC), National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Ranger Tab, Expert Infantryman Badge, Parachutist Badge, and Air Assault Badge. His foreign decorations include the Indonesian Parachutist Badge, Thai Parachutist Badge, and German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge – Gold.
CPT Witosky and his wife Emily have three children Elsie, Landon, and Ben.
