TSgt Cynthia D. Clarkson is the Administrative NCOIC, Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps, Northeast Region, Detachment 650 Athens, Ohio. Sergeant Clarkson is responsible for the management of all personnel programs for the cadre and cadets. She accomplishes all the necessary paperwork for cadets in training and all required actions for commissioning. Additionally, she monitors and updates medical, security, enlistment, and cadet pay programs to assist with their transition into their military careers.
TSgt Clarkson was raised in Goldsboro, NC. She graduated from Eastern Wayne High School in 2006 and enlisted in the Air Force in 2007. Her background includes various roles as Knowledge Operations Manager as well as NCOIC for the Commander Support Staff and performing duties ranging from reenlistments, extensions, special duty pay management, evaluations and decorations. TSgt Clarkson’s assignments include bases in California, Florida, Virginia, and South Carolina. Additionally, she served overseas in England along with two deployments to Afghanistan and UAE. Prior to her current position, she served as the NCOIC, Administrative Support for AFCENT/A2, Shaw AFB, SC.
