CACREP Board positions:   CACREP is seeking a counselor educator and a public member for the Board of Directors beginning July 1, 2011.  The deadline for complete applications is October 1, 2010.  The Position Announcement and Application form is available on our website:  www.cacrep.org< http://www.cacrep.org

Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) 2011 Award for Outstanding Institutional Practice in Student Learning Outcomes.  Applications may be at the Institutional, Program, or Major level.  The CHEA Award "acknowledges outstanding practices in developing and applying evidence of student learning outcomes as part of the ongoing accountability evaluation and improvement of college and university programs of study."  For further information on the award, eligibility criteria, and application procedures, please visit http://www.chea.org/2011_CHEA_Award.html. 
The deadline for applications is October 29, 2010.

NBCC Foundation  Scholarships:  2010 scholarships are available for students pursuing a career in professional counseling.  Military and rural scholarships are in the amount of $3,000 and five of each are available.  Recent military experience is required for the military scholarship, and residence in a rural area is a requirement for the rural scholarship.  The deadline for applications is November 1, 2010.
