Candidates must have a commitment to working in a multicultural setting. The candidate should demonstrate scholarly involvement as evidenced by publication, research and grants within counseling. Responsibilities include: * teaching graduate courses in Counselor Education programs, * engaging in research, scholarly writing and grant work, * academic advising, * serving on program, department, school, and college committees, * being knowledgeable of the ASCA model, CACREP 2009 standards, and Blackboard or equivalent online instructional software. Education Required or Min Education Required: Doctorate in Counselor Education preferred; doctorate in Counseling related field will be considered. Experience and/or Skills Required: The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years teaching experience at the graduate level. Professional experience in school counseling.
