Teaching expectations include: teaching core courses in a comprehensive Counselor Education program with experience in clinical supervision. The position the department is seeking consists of a 50% teaching load that includes core and clinically focused courses, and coordinating practica/internships. This position will also serve as an assessment coordinator in ongoing departmental assessment development for accreditation, program review, etc. An earned doctorate in Counselor Education from a CACREP-approved counseling program is preferred. Eligibility for licensure as a professional counselor in Virginia is also preferred.
