POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT FOR
COUNSELOR EDUCATION

Counselor Educator:  One full-time Special Purpose Assistant Professor to serve in a nationally accredited program. Teaching expectations include: teaching core courses in a comprehensive Counselor Education program with experience in clinical supervision. The position the department is seeking consists of a 50% teaching load that includes core and clinically focused courses, and coordinating practica/internships.  This position will also serve as an assessment coordinator in ongoing departmental assessment development for accreditation, program review, etc.

An earned doctorate in Counselor Education from a CACREP-approved counseling program is preferred. Eligibility for licensure as a professional counselor in Virginia is also preferred. Send letter of application, current vita, copies of transcripts, names, addresses, and phone numbers of three references to Search Committee Chair, Department of Counselor Education, Box 6994, Radford University, Radford, VA 24142.  Application review begins immediately and will continue until the position is filled.
