Applications are invited for Ph.D. assistantships within the Graduate School of Geography at Clark University. Ph.D. admission covers tuition, provides an annual stipend, and includes eligibility for competitive fellowships. Clark's Earth System Science program features expertise in terrestrial ecosystems and global change, hydrology, forest ecology, biogeography, polar science, terrestrial and marine biogeochemistry, disturbance & landscape ecology, GIScience, and remote sensing. GIScience and remote sensing geographers apply the world's most advanced Earth observation and spatial analytical technologies to address crucial issues concerning socio-economic development and environmental science and policy.
