Hi all, Following up Viorel's email, I also want to remind you that I will offer Anthropological and Personal Genomics (BIOS 4200X/5200X) this Fall. This class is meant to be an introduction to modern genomics and focuses on both technical skills (lab) and foundational knowledge to interpret genomic data (lecture). Although the course focuses on human genomic data, selected for their widespread availability, it provides introductory training for analyzing any modern genomic dataset (including non-model species). No previous computational/bioinformatics knowledge is needed. As is the case for Population Ecology, this is also a dual-listed class that primarily caters to graduate students. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any question. Best, Diego A. This class is offered every other year, so MSc students only have one opportunity to delve into population ecology theory and a good amount of R coding. No previous R coding experience required. This is a dual-listed class, but it mostly caters to graduate students. Class will meet in person Tues / Thurs 3:30 -4:50 pm in Grover Center W305. Hope to see you there!
