I am providing information regarding our fall film series currently scheduled for in person screening at the Athena Cinema uptown. Masks are required and seating will be reduced. The series highlights new release films that explore diverse topics, this year focusing on global climate action, conservation protections, sustainable farming and the resilience of the planet through forest fungi systems. The political systems that continue to regulate and create our environmental and climate reality are a part of most of the film offerings. Our vision and goal are those of years past: to offer attendees the opportunity to acquire a deeper understanding of the current issues related to global environmental and sustainable challenges and solutions.  We choose films that engage and challenge the audience to integrate the information from these stories into their everyday life as well as delve into solutions. We also search for films that are visually stunning, engaging and a pleasure to screen.

We work to bring together students, faculty and regional community members. Following each screening we invite audience members to join us for a panel discussion hosted by faculty members, students and community members. Please join us for a conversation following these beautiful, thought-provoking and timely films. All admissions free.
