Hi all, I would also like to take the time to thank Cassie Thompson for her 3-year service as the OCEES Twitter account manager and for getting the account up and running and building the current following from the ground up. It takes a lot of time and effort to stay on top on an active social media account.

4)     Janette Perez-Jimenez has agreed to manage our social media, primarily twitter and Facebook for this semester. Twitter is becoming more and more of an outlet for research and other accomplishments (e.g. students successfully defending or passing other milestones in their career) for many programs around the world. OCEES's current twitter account has almost 600 followers and most of these are at other institutions. When I perused our followers, I was quite surprised and impressed with who was following us and quickly realized that we should be more active in either posting ourselves or sending our accomplishments to Janette for her to post, preferably with a picture. It will be great exposure and enhance the recruitment in our graduate programs and our reputation overall. Forward to - Perez-Jimenez, Janette jp195121 at ohio.edu
