Howdy Folks,

A quick update on food: starting tomorrow (Wednesday) the Athens Farmer’s Market is moving to the Athens Community Center, under the solar panels and not far from the bike path. It should be a much better location for students. If you’ve been thinking about going to the Market, this is a good time, to help make the transition a success. It’s good for your health, good for the local economy, and good for the planet.  And it’s fun and affordable.

Address: 701 East State St.
Times: SATURDAYS 9:00am - noon (year-round)
WEDNESDAYS  9:00am - noon (April 20 — Nov 23)
During the winter months (Dec 3 – March 25), some vendors will set up in the Community Center while others will remain under the solar panels.
