*A principal might be well served to address both the managerial and leaderships aspects of administration as a way to meet the needs of their workers and satisfy stakeholders.* * A managerial administrator is one who makes sure everyone is doing what he or she is supposed to do. Tasks are being completed; goals are being met. They make sure the roles of custodians, cooks, and secretaries are fulfilled and tasks are completed sufficiently, i.e., the school running smoothly. * * A leader type administrator has followers and often blazes trails to explore new ideas and reach new goals. Teachers will thrive with a leader administrator who has appealing ideas and goals. Leader administrators and teachers can be very impactful to the lives and learning of students, and their families.* *When managers are effectively fulfilling their roles, stakeholders are satisfied because the school is running smoothly, every job completed. Stakeholders can become concerned when an aspect of the school is not working properly, e.g., a manager administrator who has a very clean building and great public relations but uninspired teachers and unmet achievement goals.* -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
