...SYNOPSIS...

ANOTHER NICE...LATE SUMMER DAY IS ON TAP AS WEAK HIGH PRESSURE MOVES
ACROSS THE AREA. EXPECT HIGHS IN THE MID 80S FOR MUCH OF WEST
VIRGINIA...BUT AROUND 80 ACROSS THE NORTHERN PART OF THE STATE.

CLOUDS WILL START TO INCREASE TONIGHT AS A COLD FRONT APPROACHES
FROM THE WEST...WITH SHOWERS POSSIBLY SHOWING UP BY DAWN THURSDAY
WEST OF THE OHIO RIVER. TEMPERATURES TONIGHT WILL BE LOWEST IN THE
VALLEYS...AND HIGHEST ON THE RIDGES AS THE WIND STARTS TO INCREASE
FROM THE SOUTHWEST. THIS COULD RESULT IN LARGE TEMPERATURE DIFFERENCES.

SHOWERS ARE LIKELY AREA WIDE LATER THURSDAY INTO THURSDAY NIGHT AS
THE OLD FRONT MOVES EAST THROUGH THE AREA...WITH STRONG THUNDERSTORMS
ALSO POSSIBLE. COOLER WEATHER WILL FOLLOW BEHIND THE FRONT FOR THE
END OF THE WORK WEEK INTO THE WEEKEND.
