The War and Peace Studies M.A. program addresses the recent and dramatic spike in demand for graduates with competencies in various areas related to war, conflict, security, peace and justice.
This interdisciplinary program combines a strong grounding in core Arts & Sciences disciplines with opportunities to form your course of study around your professional and academic goals.
You can enroll in courses offered by a range of schools and departments across the university in disciplines of interest. This flexible design supports individualized learning experiences across disciplinary boundaries.
This is a full-time program. Students taking a full load of 16 credits per semester will complete the program in two consecutive terms (fall and spring).

The War and Peace Studies M.A. program requires a minimum of 32 credit hours, with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and no more than two grades below B, and a capstone project.
