Effective November 30, 2018, Lowes is now available in Bobcat BUY as an additional preferred supplier for home improvement supplies. The punch-out catalog in Bobcat BUY offers a variety of supplies plus search capabilities and shopping features. Campus customers can choose from three delivery methods: pick up order at local store, truck delivery, or parcel delivery from a common carrier, (UPS or FedEx).
A user guide is available to support employees in utilizing the new Lowes catalog.
The extensive catalog offers pricing with the overall aggregate savings reflecting a 7-21 percent discount on retail purchasing. With the punch-out catalog all purchase orders are automatically transmitted to the Lowes eProcurement team and submitted to your selected store for fulfillment. Invoices and credit memos are also transmitted electronically to Accounts Payable through a billing portal.
Business purchases can be made using the Ohio University contract at the local retail stores using a PCard. Ohio University customers must request a Lowes key fob from the Purchasing Department. The key fob will give the buyer a seven percent discount on top of sale prices. You will receive the discount when you present your key fob during checkout. You must also remind the cashier that the purchase is tax exempt.
