Professional Development Pathways (PDP) provides tools, guidance, and learning opportunities for employees and supervisors who want to invest in talent development and career growth. Additional training sessions are now available for the following courses:
Chart of Accounts Fundamentals
The updated “Chart of Accounts Fundamentals” training course defines concepts, terms and hierarchies associated with the Chart of Accounts. In response to participant feedback from recent training sessions, a split-day format for this course is being offered on December 7, 2018 and March 6, 2019. This new format will split the training content into two sections. The first section will be presented from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m., and the second session will be presented from 1 – 3 p.m. Participants will have a 1.5 hour break between sections to catch up on work, grab lunch, or return to their offices if necessary. Please note that lunch is NOT provided as part of this training.
Grants Accounting Fundamentals
Grants Accounting Fundamentals provides a more in-depth look at Grants Accounting. “Chart of Accounts Fundamentals” is a pre-requisite for this course, so in order to provide an in-depth learning experience for those who work with grants, an additional “Grants Accounting Fundamentals” session is being offered on March 26, 2019 from 9 – 11 a.m., as a follow-up to the March 6 “Chart of Accounts Fundamentals” session.
