Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine Strategic Plan
Our 2033 Heritage College Strategic Plan acts as a road map to guide us to critical milestones over the next three to five years, positioning us for even greater success over the next 10 years.
Osteopathic Heritage Foundation Award
In 2011, the Osteopathic Heritage Foundation approved a $105 million award, Vision 2020: Leading the Transformation of Primary Care in Ohio , to transform our college into a nationally prominent institution that trains primary care physicians to serve the rural and underserved areas in Ohio.
Research Strategic Plan
The Office of Research and Grants has launched a revised strategic plan working towards a vision to be the model of basic and translational research for rural and underserved communities.
Translational Research Facility
The Heritage College will start work on a new facility on the Athens campus dedicated to translational research. This facility will support clinical and translational research by offering a high quality, modern, flexible and accessible research and clinical space focus on providing access to public-facing clinical research.
