Produce Buying Club

Typical peck share
March 2, 2020

Registration for our 2020 Produce Buying Club, in partnership with Rural Action, is now open! Locally produced, Non-GMO produce at wholesale prices delivered to the Athens campus. Nom nom nom.

Why participate?

· Support Local Farmers and Producers: All produce is purchased from local farmers at the Chesterhill Produce Auction (CPA). All add-on products are purchased either from CPA or from Shagbaek Seed & Mill.

· Save Money: This wholesale model of a Buying Club allows for a greater diversity in the produce received each week, which can be a limiting factor of a traditional CSA.

· Opt-Out Option: Our unique structure allows you to opt-out of any weeks you wish. This way, you don't lose out on the weeks you're out of town or just not up for extra veggies! Note: you must opt out at time of registration, so get your schedule ready.

· Add-On Items: A new feature in 2020 allows participants to add other grocery items. Choose from a variety of locally produced, shelf-stable food items.

Size Options:

· Half Peck (Feeds 1-2 adults per week).
