Each January, WellWorks hosts a Triathlon Training program in preparation for the Race for a Reason Triathlon (Saturday, April 26, 2025). At this time, pre-registration is being offered to interested parties. While this Triathlon Training is timed to prepare participants for participating in Race for a Reason, such participation is not required.
Two course options will be available for this training program:
- The Beginner Course is designed for individuals who are new to the sport of triathlon and are apprehensive about one or more of the three disciplines of swimming, biking, or running. This course is scheduled on Tuesdays from 6-7AM for a total of 14 Weeks.
- The Beginner/Intermediate Course is designed for individuals who are relatively new to the sport of triathlon and have some experience in one or more of the three disciplines of swimming, biking, or running. This course is scheduled on Tuesdays from 7:15-8:15AM and for a total of 14 Weeks.
Before the Triathlon Training program begins (Jan 2025), individuals who complete the pre-registration form will receive an email from WellWorks with the following information:
- Directions on how to officially register for the program ($45 for WellWorks members, $95 for non-WellWorks members). Registering for this training program does not register you for the Race for a Reason Triathlon.
- How to prepare for the class, what to expect, where training takes place, and more.
Anyone who completes the pre-registration form
will receive a WellWorks branded water bottle at the start of the training program.
