Nick’s first time seeing the Ohio University campus was in high school and the first thing that caught his eye was the beautiful campus. It reminded him of his love for nature and being outdoors. It was his love for building that led him to choose the Civil Engineering program.
Nick is president of the American Society of Civil Engineers, through which he participates in the concrete canoe and steel bridge competitions at the Ohio Valley Student Conference every March. This past summer, Nick interned with the Eco-Span Concrete Arc Systems working with engineers on design and drawings. He wants to get into working with structures, so that one day he will be able to design bridges.
Outside of engineering, Nick enjoys going to OHIO Improv and working out.
