Byte-Sized Course Design: this faculty development series is made up of practical, hands-on microlearning workshops focused on strengthening your course design skills one step at a time. Each session zeroes in on a specific, high-impact topic such as chunking content for better retention, rapid course prototyping, converting old slide decks into dynamic Canvas pages, estimating student workload, and mapping your course with the help of an instructional designer. Whether you're building a course from scratch or refining an existing one, these focused sessions offer actionable strategies you can implement right away to create more engaging, organized, and learner-centered experiences.
