Grant Gerwit serves as the Director of Respiratory Therapy and Assistant Professor of Instruction at Ohio University Lancaster, a role he began in November 2024. With a strong foundation in both clinical practice and healthcare leadership, Grant brings valuable experience and insight to the university’s respiratory therapy program.

Before joining OHIO Lancaster, Grant worked as a respiratory therapist at Fairfield Medical Center for over three years, following previous clinical work at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. His hands-on experience in diverse healthcare environments equips him to prepare students for the evolving demands of respiratory care.

Grant holds a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University and a Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Therapy from The Ohio State University. His combined expertise in clinical care and healthcare systems management supports his mission to develop competent, compassionate respiratory therapists ready to make an impact in the field.
