Nguyen received his Ph.D. in the Higher, Adult and Lifelong Education program at Michigan State University in 2016. He holds a master's degree in College Student Development and Counseling from Northeastern University and a bachelor's degree in Accounting and Marketing from Syracuse University. Before pursuing a doctoral degree, David held positions in career services at MIT, student activities at Tufts University and tax consulting at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
