Premedical Education
Prepare for your journey
Our premedical programs set prospective students apart in the admissions process and help incoming students accelerate their medical school experience.
Spend summer wisely
Boost your abilities with summer programs designed to give current and incoming students hands-on learning experiences in active laboratory and clinical settings.
Undergraduate Medical Education (D.O.)
Pre-Clinical Education (Years 1 and 2)
Beginning with intensive training and osteopathic manipulative medicine, you’ll divide your learning time between the lab, lecture hall, and clinical settings, building a strong foundation with hands-on experience.
Clinical Education (Years 3 and 4)
Your second two years will put your knowledge and skills to the test in real-world clinical settings, exposing you to many different medical specialties while you learn under some of today’s brightest physicians.
Graduate Medical Education
Take the next step
The path toward becoming a D.O. doesn’t end once a medical student receives a degree. Then comes the hospital-based training. Through the Heritage College’s many hospital partners, graduates pursue a host of specialties, from dermatology to emergency medicine to family medicine to pediatrics.
Continuing Medical Education
Never stop learning
Between the Ohio Osteopathic Symposium and the Area Health Education Center, you can continue your growth as a D.O. by learning alongside some of today’s brightest practitioners.
