2024-2025 Rates
RHE rates for OHIO Tenured, Tenure-Track, Instructional, Early Retiree, and Visiting Faculty
- Class size 1-10 students: $130 / student credit hour *
- Class size 11-25 students: $1,400 / credit hour
- Class size 26-49 students: $1,400 / credit hour + $44 / student credit hour
- Class size 50+ students: $2,631 / credit hour **
*Courses with enrollments between 1-10 students are not guaranteed but may continue, with approval from Regional Higher Education, based on student degree progression or completion requirements.
**Course facilitators are strongly encouraged for courses that exceed 50 enrollments.
Faculty receive $500 stipend for each facilitator they supervise.

13 students x $44 x 3 cr = $1,716

- Class size 11-25 students: $1,100 / credit hour
- Class size 26-49 students: $1,100 / credit hour + $40 / student credit hour
- Class size 50+ students: $2,100 / credit hour **

RHE rates for FacilitatorsFacilitators for regional online courses will be compensated $94 / assigned student per three credit hour course. The rate will be adjusted proportionally for courses that are more or less than three credit hours.
2021-2022, 2022-2023, and 2023-2024 Rates
Teaching rates listed in the 2021-2022 documents remain in effect through Summer 2024. Updated rates will go into effect for Fall 2024.
