The Environmental Sustainability Graduate Certificate facilitates a study of environmental sustainability as it relates to the economy, society, the environment, and technology. The certificate is an opportunity for graduate students who are not enrolled in the MSES Program to earn a credential for taking a cross-section of environmentally-themed courses from a variety of disciplines. The Graduate Certificate program helps graduate students develop skills and understanding of interdisciplinary sustainability themes.

Students — whether full-time graduate students or working professionals — also improve their understanding of basic concepts of sustainability as they relate to their specific degree program or career.
