The Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership and Management provides students with practical and effective skills as they begin or advance their careers in the nonprofit sector.
The curriculum also focuses on preparing nonprofit managers to understand the size and scope of the field, ethical considerations of managing in the nonprofit sector, and the regulatory environment that nonprofits operate within. Individual courses focus on developing students' skills in fundraising, resource development, program management, marketing and communication, media strategies, and government/nonprofit collaboration.

Admission requirements to the certificate include:
- A current resume
- A bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited university with a minimum GPA of 3.0
