Biographical Note
Louise H. Currier was born in Athens, Ohio in September of 1844 to parents Jacob Lawrence Currier (29) and Harriet Stewart (27). She had two siblings, Olive Frances Currier Bond and George L. Currier. On May 21st in 1867, at the age of 22, she married Charles H. Grosvenor in Athens. Together they had two children: Louise Grosvenor Leete (died in 1934) and Edward Lawrence Grosvenor (died as an infant). Louise Currier Grosvenor died on July 15th, 1939, in Athens at the age of 94. She is buried in the West Union Street Cemetery in Athens.
