Scope and Contents
The scrapbook consists of letters written and typed, mostly to Ann Gabriel from Malcolm Leonard Gabriel. There are many postcards from Italy and France with handwritten notes on the backs. There are two instances of dried flowers, an envelope of money from France, and an envelope of original photographic prints “taken from an Italian prisoner” that seem to document Africa and parts of Italy. There are also many newspaper clippings following the movement and action seen by the 82nd Airborne Division.
