Scope and Content

From the Collection:

Agnes Hill Research notes on Coolville History consists of different documents (obituaries, genealogical records, letters, notebooks) related to Coolville History which were collected by the author during her work on the book "History of Coolville, Ohio: 1818-1968". Materials include a Coolville District Camp Meeting Association Daybook, copy of original maps of the town, a copy of original minutes, and a copy of the first by-laws as written when the village was incorporated in 1835. Her history of the village also includes pictures taken during the early 1900s and information on families, churches, organizations and businesses during these years. The collection also includes correspondence of Hill with different people related to collecting necessary research materials.
