Athens (Ohio)

The Josiah Coe papers span from 1803 to 1846 and document Coe's business transactions. The collection includes receipts for the exchange of goods or services; tax receipts; and rent receipts.

The Josiah True papers span from the 1820s to the 1840s and document the life of the True family and True's work.

The Judith Daso women's issues collection contains reports, newspaper articles, photographs, slides, videotapes, and audio cassette tapes related to the women's issues at Ohio University and in Athens County. The dates of documents range from a photocopy of a newspaper article from 1878 to committee reports from late 2005 with the bulk from 1965 to 1995.

The Lavelle family ledgers include a time book and an accounting ledger and were written by either John Lavelle or his son Thomas Lavelle. Several of the entries in the ledgers relate to farming and the railroad company.

The Los Amigos collection documents the student organization's activities from 1947 through 1952 at Ohio University.

The collection contains the personal papers of Fred and Evelyn Luchs including sermons, photographs, memory books, diaries, newspaper articles and letters.

The Luella Pearl Pemberton collection dates from 1921 and contains a 94-page scrapbook, correspondence, newspaper clippings, photographs, and copies of the alumni newsletter The Ohio University Bulletin.

The Margaret Catherine Lawless scrapbook contains photographs collected by Lawless during her time as a student at Ohio University from 1917 to 1919. Most of the materials in the scrapbook are photographs of campus life, including a number of pictures from outings led by number of pictures form outings led by Dean of Women Irma Voigt.

The Margery Young Martin (MYM) papers contains documents created and collected by MYM during her time as a student at Ohio University (OU). The papers span from 1915 to 1923.

The Mary Wirts Bargar (MWB) papers were collected by MWB during her time as a student at Ohio University. The papers span from 1955 to 1959.
