Title: Treating Major Depression in Patients with Diabetes Mellitus Type II: Implications for the Rural Appalachian Communities
Author: Dr. Yegan Pillay , professor of counseling and higher education .
The research is the results from an NIH-funded study conducted in rural and urban settings that examined Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and exercise on depression and glycemic outcomes in adults with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) and Type 2 Diabetes (T2DM).
This presentation will be delivered using MS Teams and is free and open to the public.
