High School students are invited to join the Ohio University School of Music for an exciting day of violin workshops and masterclasses, featuring a guest artist, violin faculty, and a student recital.

Featured Visiting Guest Professor:
Kurt Sassmannshaus
Violinist, teacher and conductor, Kurt Sassmannshaus is considered one of today's preeminent violin pedagogues.

Event Schedule:

10:00 am: Master Class with Dr. Christine Harada Li (Assistant Professor of Instruction, Violin and String Pedagogy at Ohio University).

12:30 pm: Lecture presented by Professor Kurt Sassmannshaus
"Intonation on String Instruments: Theory and Practice"

2:00 pm: Master Class with Professor Kurt Sassmannshaus

4:30 pm: Student Recital
