Join Ohio University’s Information Security Office for Data Security Day . Attendees will participate in a variety of seminar-style sessions throughout the day. The conference will feature keynote speaker, Josh Thomas, Vice President of Information Technology at Rocky Brands. Thomas’ session will focus on the similarities and differences in higher education vs. corporate information security principles and whose practices are hardest-hitting and most comprehensive. Other sessions will span a variety of topics including a tabletop exercise that walks attendees through what to do in the event of a disaster, how to combat phishing, a panel discussion around different paths to a cybersecurity career, and more.
