EdFest is an annual event hosted by Regional Higher Education for early childhood and elementary education students from Ohio University's regional campuses. This festival brings together sophomores from Chillicothe, Eastern, Southern, Zanesville, and Lancaster campuses to engage in team-building activities and interactive fun. Designed to foster community and connections among students, EdFest addresses challenges in virtual learning by promoting engagement through playful, in-person experiences. Activities include team handshakes, s'more recipe competitions, and various games, all aimed at building relationships and enhancing student interaction both in and out of the classroom. This initiative supports the development of strong, collaborative networks that enrich students' educational journeys.
