Scripps Day at Ohio University celebrates the unique partnership between the Scripps companies and the Scripps College of Communication. In 2006, the Scripps Howard Foundation made a $15 million gift to the college to support its students and programs.

On Jan. 26, 2023, Scripps Company Emerging Talent Leader Chip Mahaney invites Scripps students to join him for resume critiques and a short interview. (In case of inclement weather, Scripps Day and these interviews will move to Feb. 16.) Graduating seniors will be able to hear about open positions or even gain a referral to the Scripps recruiting team. Underclassmen are also highly encouraged to sign up for an appointment with Chip to hear about internships and future opportunities.

Interviews will take place in 20-minute time slots in Schoonover Center 504 between 11 a.m. and 12:20 p.m. and 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
