All Zoom discussions will take place on Wednesdays at 8:30 p.m. Registrants will have access to films in advance, though we recommend viewing the films on the day of the panel discussion.
About the film:
TAKING ROOT is a compelling documentary narrative about the first environmentalist and first African woman to win the Nobel Peace Prize. In 1977, Maathai suggested rural women plant trees to address problems stemming from a degraded environment.
