Please join EBN Columbus in fighting hunger in our community during Give Thanks November as we host a food drive on November 16, 2024, from 12:30 p.m.-2:30 pm at Marlow's Cheesesteaks in Gahanna. We will collect unexpired canned goods and non-perishable food items that will be donated to the Columbus Food Rescue.

Registrants can enjoy complimentary cheesesteaks and fries while supplies last. Other food items will be available for purchase.

The goal for this year's food drive is to collect at least 200 canned goods in honor of John Newton Templeton’s 200th anniversary of becoming Ohio University’s first Black student! Attendees are asked to bring two or more canned goods to donate, and family and friends of alumni are welcome. Needed food items include peanut butter, canned meat (chicken or tuna), canned vegetables, canned fruit, pasta, and cereal.

In addition, EBN Columbus will pay homage to Roshelle Pate, founder of "The Food Soldier" initiative and a military veteran who fought the war on hunger, food insecurities, and unhealthy eating. Roshelle attended Ohio University and passed away in 2023.

Please join us in supporting those in need in our community!
