We’re celebrating five decades of academic achievement and creative thinking. We can’t think of a better way to do it than to bring our amazing HTCers back to campus! We’ll kick off the weekend festivities on Friday evening with food, fun and friends uptown at Jackie O’s. Saturday, we’ll gather in memory of former Dean Joe Berman, share a picnic lunch, reminisce, and tour our favorite OU and Athens spaces and places. Saturday night, we’ll get a little fancy for a gala and dinner at the historic Zenner house. Sunday, we’ll enjoy breakfast to close a wonderful weekend together.

Registration Cost
Registration costs $175 per person, includes all receptions, Saturday lunch and activities, Zenner House event and dinner.

Saturday, August 27

Breakfast - Memorial for Joe Berman (8:00 a.m.)
Location: 35 Park Place, outside
Begin your day with a continental breakfast. Join alumni, faculty/staff and the Athens community as we remember and honor Dean Joe Berman for his fortitude and vision of creating the Honors Tutorial College.

President’s House Picnic Lunch (11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m.)
Location: 29 Park Place (formerly known as the presidential residence)
This event is for alumni, current students, and former and current faculty and staff

Campus Tours and Activities (12:30-3:00 p.m.)
Campus Tours, HTC exhibits on 5th floor of Alden Library in the Mahn Center and Button making(!) on the 4th floor of Alden Library.

HTC Gala - Zenner House (6:30-10:00 p.m.)
Location: Zenner House, 30 Utah Place
Dress Code: Business casual, summer lawn party. Transportation from Ohio University Inn provided

Gather for an elegant outdoor event and delicious dinner catered by The Olive Branch. We welcome you to the historic Zenner House, built in 1929 and named for its original owner, Henry Zenner, one of the wealthiest residents of Athens.
