Susan Giles , the John E. Sullivan Professor of Law in the Capital University Law School, joins the Center for Law, Justice & Culture and Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity on Tuesday, March 22, from 7 to 8 p.m. in Bentley Hall 136.

The event is open to all students and alumni. Those interested in attending can register for this event via Handshake .

Giles received her Bachelor's of Law from the University of Glasgow and then her Master's of Law from Harvard University. Giles served as a litigation associate with the firm of BakerHostetler and then joined Capital University Law School in 1990. Her scholarship focuses on Civil Procedure and on First Amendment/Media Law issues. An innovative and enthusiastic teacher, she recently published, with co-authors, “Click & Learn: Civil Procedure” an interactive online casebook designed to enhance student learning by providing immediate feedback and complete explanations on thousands of civil procedure questions. She serves on numerous law school committees (most recently chairing the Academic Affairs Committee) and is a long-time adviser to the Women’s Law Association at Capital University.

Keleigh Chumney, Associate Director of Admissions at Capital University Law School, also will be available to answer any questions about the application process.
