This workshop will provide an overview of recent research on Generation Z, identifying the distinctive characteristics and motivations that distinguish today’s students from previous generations. Workshop participants will engage directly with members of Generation Z, gaining firsthand perspectives on their educational experiences and learning preferences. The goal of the workshop is to empower educators to critically evaluate their current classroom strategies and pedagogical approaches in light of Gen Z characteristics. 

In this session, participants will: 

• Identify key characteristics and traits associated with Gen Z students. 
• Engage in meaningful dialogue with Gen Z individuals, gaining firsthand insights into their perspectives on education. 
• Evaluate existing classroom techniques and pedagogical approaches in light of Gen Z characteristics.
• Identify strategies to align their pedagogical approaches with student needs.
