The Office of the University Registrar provides services to current and former students as the custodian of student and course records; and supports programs on all campuses. The Office of the University Registrar consists of 27 employees: 14 administrative and 13 classified staff, plus numerous student employees working in seven distinct units. The Office of the University Registrar reports to the Senior Vice Provost for Strategic Enrollment Management.
The Center for Community Engagement connects students, faculty, staff, and communities (from local to global) to create and maintain mutually beneficial academic, research, and service partnerships that foster resilient communities and life-long engaged citizens.
The Center for Entrepreneurship at Ohio University hosts a new era of entrepreneurial education and support, university-based technology commercialization, and regionally focused business development in southeastern Ohio. A partnership of Ohio University’s College of Business and Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Affairs, the center builds upon and raises to new levels longstanding efforts at the University and throughout the region to provide entrepreneurial education, business assistance services, and investment capital for entrepreneurs and start-up businesses. Coordinating University resources through the center creates exciting new opportunities for internationally competitive entrepreneurial studies, enhanced commercialization of faculty research, and coordinated support for entrepreneurship, business development, and job creation.

The Scripps College of Communication at Ohio University seeks not only to educate its students about today's communication industry but to produce innovative leaders who will shape the future of communication and its methods of delivery in a rapidly changing technological landscape. Scripps provides leadership in communication by preparing students to be effective and responsible communicators in a global society, and by advancing the field through creative activity and research on communication concepts, issues and problems.
Students are the heart of Ohio University. In the Office of the Dean of Students, we advocate for students, coordinate response to student crisis, and provide outreach and engagement to parents and families. We advance the university mission of supporting the intellectual and personal development of our students through ongoing advocacy and care.
Ohio University's Women's Center strives to be an integral part of the university's transformative learning community, and a national leader in its own right. The Women's Center promotes inclusion, honors difference, and works with faculty, staff, students, and the larger Athens community, to promote academic achievement, active global citizenship, and substantive leadership positions for women in all professional fields, as well as building confidence within women's personal lives, by using an intersectional, though gendered, lens.
University Planning supports the University's academic mission and strategic vision by providing professional guidance for the long range planning of the physical environment as well as leveraging space to its highest utilization. Our office is responsible for providing leadership with campus planning, capital planning, space management, geographic information systems, and building information archives. UP is also a resource to help the University, its five regional campuses, and two extensions to realize their goals by listening, facilitating, leveraging, and collaborating to provide an evolving campus road map that supports learning, discovery, and community.
The Center for Teaching, Learning, & Assessment (CTLA), within the Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost, advances teaching excellence across OHIO. The center, newly expanded and relaunched in fall 2022, works with critical partners to provide faculty development, create opportunities for faculty collaboration, grow faculty competencies in assessment, promote the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) and Discipline-based Research (DBER), and support policies and procedures related to teaching and learning. By participating in CTLA programs, colleagues across the University share ideas and expertise with one another, implement evidence-based instructional strategies in a variety of learning contexts and assess the effectiveness of teaching practices. At the heart of such efforts is a core value of transforming students' intellectual growth and skill acquisition, as well as promoting their development as individuals and as engaged citizens.
