Description
If you don't want to use Azure Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) each time you log in to a University system, you can check the Don’t ask again for 90 days box after entering your password. This will allow your web browser to remember your authentication for 90 days.
Note: Some applications may prompt you to authenticate more frequently for security reasons.

Solution
- After entering your OHIO log-in credentials, you will see the prompt below to approve your authentication request.
- Select the check box next to Don't ask again for 90 days.
If your web browser does not remember this selection, ensure your web browser has the appropriate privacy and cookies settings:
Google Chrome

Go to the top right corner of your window and select the three vertical dots.

Go to Settings.

Scroll to Privacy and security.

Ensure Block all cookies is NOT selected.
- Turn off Clear cookies and site data when you quit Chrome.
Firefox

Go to the top right corner of your window and select the three horizontal bars.

Select Options.

Select Privacy and Security.

Scroll down to History and select Remember history.
Edge

Go to the top right corner of your window and select the three dots menu.

Select Settings.
-
Select Privacy, search, and services in the left menu.

Scroll down to Clear browsing data, and select Choose what to clear every time you close the browser.

Ensure Cookies and other site data is NOT selected.
Safari
Outcome:
You will be prompted to authenticate again in 90 days when you access any online application that requires an OHIO log-in.
