School of Nursing Simulation Labs

Nursing students practice fundamental knowledge and technical skills and apply evidence to simulated scenarios conducted in the School of Nursing Simulation Labs. The Simulation Labs are equipped with high-fidelity human patient simulators, audiovisual equipment, computers, and biomedical equipment. Faculty members assigned to nursing courses with lab components coordinate meaningful simulation exercises in the Sim Labs, allowing students to reinforce nursing concepts learned during lecture sessions. Open lab sessions are also available for students to enhance their health assessment and nursing skills using simulation and other evidence-based techniques.
