Welcome to the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine Clinical Training and Assessment Centers. CTAC plays a key role in the Heritage College mission "... to provide a clinically integrated, learning-centered, osteopathic medical education continuum for students, interns, residents and fellows..."
Specifically, CTAC provides a training and assessment area, enabling medical students, interns and residents a place to enhance their clinical skills in a safe and supportive environment. In association with the standardized patient program and interprofessional simulation activities, the students learn and practice history-taking and physical exam skills in examination rooms outfitted with medical equipment found in a doctor's office or clinical setting. The CTAC features control rooms for faculty to review live and allows interactions to be digitally recorded for future review.
